Introducing Duriga University; Utilizing the Power of Animation to Understand Accounting and Tax Principles

Asheville, NC – February 13, 2008 – Julie Duriga, North Carolina Certified Public Accountant and visionary behind Duriga University, is excited to announce the launch of the online business assistance program that offers classes in the form of short, animated videos for business owners and entrepreneurs. The first class, covering the basics of entity structures and other legal obligations, is now available. Class is in session!

Duriga has joined up with B-Clip, a multimedia and video production company with a location in Asheville, to create easy to understand videos using the power of animation. “We want to help entrepreneurs in a fun way that is convenient and affordable,” states Duriga, “Animation is such a powerful tool and we are thrilled to apply this art form to understanding tax law.”

Each video, affordably priced between $10-20, is available and viewed directly from the website. “Once the video is purchased, the viewer has the option to pause and rewind,” notes Duriga. “The viewer can pause, take notes if need be, and continue at their own pace.”

Duriga has maintained a passion to helping people. According to Duriga, “my hope is that entrepreneurs will purchase the videos and leave the classes feeling confident and empowered.”
