Vasque Athlete, Duncan Callahan, Takes First Place at Spring Desert Ultra 25 Miler

Duncan_Finish%20Desert%20Spring%20Ultra_0.JPGTrail Running newcomer, Duncan Callahan, clinched his second first place victory of the season this past weekend, April 18, at the Spring Desert Ultra 25 mile race in Fruita, Colorado. Duncan finished the race with an impressive time of 3:10:55 on a rugged terrain and a heafty elevation gain of 4200'.

Duncan said of his race:

"The race went really well. I was a little concerned that I may not have been recovered from the Moab 100, 3 weeks prior, but I just showed up and ran as fast as I could. I got into a 'flow-state' and just went for it. I actually have not felt that good for about 7 months, needless to say, I am excited for the rest of the season!"

Duncan was outfitted in Vasque's new Blur SL, a second-generation, lighter trail runner built to enhance comfort and stability over the long haul - which Duncan puts them through!

Congrats Duncan!
