Darby Communications is thrilled to announce four agency promotions this month.
Promoted to Assistant Media Relations Director, Katie Richter will use her talent for PR and staff management to work alongside Darby Communications’ Media Relations Director Suzanne Hermann, leading account teams, guiding and reviewing client PR strategies, planning and executing media events, and keeping a pulse of PR trends. Since 2018, Richter has shown dedication to helping the agency serve its clients with the utmost professionalism and creativity, as well as working to grow the agency’s roster. Her poise, forethought, and dedication in all aspects of her work will serve her well in this new role.
Ashleigh Sherman, who has been with the agency since early 2018 and is currently working on her M.S. in Communications with a focus on environmental communications at NC State University, is being promoted to Senior Account Executive. Sherman has shown immense talent and passion for working with nonprofit accounts and will be shifting her focus to growing the agency’s nonprofit PR sector. Hannah Kaminer, an Account Executive since 2019, is also being promoted to Senior Account Executive. Kaminer’s passion for storytelling has proved instrumental in growing the agency’s craft food and beverage department and in this role, she will guide strategy for all craft food and beverage clients.
Promoted to Digital Media Strategist, Lizzy Markman will advise the agency’s staff on best practices for growing social media accounts, maximizing social media ad spend, and ensuring client strategies are on point with the latest digital media trends. Her creativity and hunger for analytically driven strategy allow her to excel at this role and to ensure Darby Communications’ clients are leaders in the digital space.
