Angie Robinson to lead agency into its next growth cycle.
Darby Communications is proud to announce a shift in leadership with the appointment of Angie Robinson as the organization’s new president. Promoted to the top leadership role, Robinson is tasked with guiding the agency through its next growth cycle within the outdoor, mountain lifestyle, and craft food & beverage industries.
Located in Asheville, North Carolina, Darby Communications serves a diverse client roster representing dozens of leading brands. The firm has experienced explosive growth in recent years, both in clientele and its internal team, now 13 strong. Robinson’s tireless efforts in new business development, client retention, and staff management have been central to that growth.
Under her leadership this year, the firm has added multiple new clients including Charlotte-based Around the Crown 10K event management company, Green River Preserve outdoor recreational facility, and PubCorps, a nonprofit that offers group volunteer opportunities throughout Western North Carolina. Robinson has also led efforts to implement progressive HR policies that ensure competitive salaries and promote better work-life balance for employees.
“After twelve years of building strategic campaigns, monitoring industry trends, supporting staff and facilitating client relations, Angie completely understands what it takes to lead this organization in a manner that best serves our clients and our team members,” states agency founder, Coral Darby. “The agency is in the most caring hands.”
“I’m so excited for this new role within the agency and am looking forward to ensuring Darby Communications continues to be a leader in the industries we serve,” says Angie Robinson, President of Darby Communications. “From taking care of our employees with the benefits and policies in place for them to have a legitimate work-life balance, to working with the team to keep our agency on the forefront of trends, my goal is to make sure that Darby Communications is the best agency in the field for our current and future clients.”
