In the aftermath of the Hurricane Helene disaster in Western NC, it has become glaringly apparent that our small businesses need all the support and resources they can get. They need help to be able to continue paying employees while businesses are closed due to power and water outages, or to rebuild after losing everything to the epic flood event that occurred because of the storm. Below is a list we will update regularly that includes resources for small businesses in Western NC and ways that those interested can help these businesses rebuild or sustain during this challenging time.

Travel Guide Go Fund Me – Buy a gift card for a coffee/meal for military helping to rebuild, family in need, etc.
DeFeet – Donating 100% of the proceeds from MTN Strong socks to relief efforts.
Fuel Goods and Pressio – Local endurance brands @fuel_goods and @pressio are leading small business financial recovery efforts. They have formed the 828 Endurance Community and through their Together We Rise T-shirt campaign, 100% of T-shirt sales will go to local outdoor businesses that lost everything. The first recipients are their first-floor neighbor @rockgeist and business friend @ashevilleadventurecompany, which both suffered massive losses due to flooding. If you want to support these businesses and help them to rebuild, purchase a shirt. They are asking for a $28-$100 donation per shirt.
