We are looking for a part-time PR and Social Media Assistant Requirements:
PR or Marketing experience strongly preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Strong interest in outdoor recreation and wellness industries
Impeccable writing and editing skills – a masterful wordsmith
Detail oriented and organized in all tasks
Comfortable answering the office phone, taking messages, and day-to-day correspondence
Experience with photography and video development a plus
Proficient in social media – including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube. This includes:
Scheduling and creating posts on client's behalf
Knowledge of the evolving digital landscape – emerging trends, apps, sm channels, etc.
Ability to read and understand Facebook analytics
Familiarity with CMS - WordPress, Blogger, etc.
Ideal candidate must have excitement in their work with the urge to bring ideas to the table. This is a close knit, creative team so high energy is a MUST!
Duties will include:
Researching editorial publications/outlets for potential client coverage
Organizing and recording all client press coverage
Assisting with sending and receiving products and/or press materials
Scheduling and creating posts to various social media outlets
Writing and uploading blog posts
Running office errands
Keeping office clean, organized, and well-stocked
Other administrative duties as needed
Considered candidates MUST possess strong organizational and time management skills. Public Relations is a constantly changing environment and the ability to adapt to changes or new situations is a necessity.
