As many of you know, our Asheville-based team was severely impacted by the destruction from Hurricane Helene. We wanted to let everyone know that all of our employees are safe and accounted for. Several remain in the Asheville area, where access to electricity, running water, cell service, and internet is limited. We anticipate these conditions may persist for the next week and possibly much longer.
Given these circumstances, there may be unavoidable communication and workflow delays from our team as emergency crews work to restore major services and begin the cleanup process.
In the meantime, if you need to contact the Darby Comm team, please email Cory Van Auken at cory@darbycommunications.com. He’ll be the best point of contact for the immediate future.
For all those who live and work in the Helene-affected areas—we’ve been thinking about you, your families, and your businesses. We know the road ahead may be uncertain, and we’re here to help however we can.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out to our team members during this challenging time to make sure we’re ok and ask how you can help. Blue Ridge Public Radio shared a comprehensive list of ways that you can donate to help flood victims, found HERE.
