Check out Darby on the water 🛶 Last week, Team Check out Darby on the water 🛶 Last week, Team Darby took to the French Broad for our staff retreat! We had an amazing day featuring @oldtownwatercraft canoes, SUP board, @astralfootwear shoes and PFDs, @watershed_drybags, sunshine, splashing, and some very brave swimmers! Plus no Darby retreat would be complete without delicious food and drink. We finished up the evening with local brews and pizza from @pizzamindavl and @archetypebrewingavl 🍺 🍕
It feels like Instagram is always changing the rul It feels like Instagram is always changing the rules so that influencers and brands have to stay on their toes and quickly adapt to whatever is trending for visibility on the social media platform. ⁣
⁣
This past month, it was announced that Instagram may be prioritizing photos again after a year or two of video, video, and more video. According to one article by Monique Thomas for @Latermedia, "If you’re focused on brand awareness and reaching new audiences, Reels may still be the way to go. However, if engagement and community-building are your main goals, sharing more photos (static or carousel) to your feed could encourage deeper conversations with your followers." ⁣
⁣
What strategies do you find perform best on your feed? Static photos, carousels, or reels? For us, we find a mixture of video and photo seems to perform well and we tend to take a 'don't put your eggs in one basket' approach when it comes to social media and pepper a bit of both throughout our client's feeds. ⁣
